Sunrise Community Service- September
We’re excited to announce that we will be sending you an email to help you sign up for your own Parent Portal through Infinite Campus. This email should arrive by the end of the day Thursday, September 5th.
This new tool will provide you with easy access to important information about your child’s progress, attendance and lunch account.
Please keep an eye on your inbox for this upcoming email and bear with us as we navigate this new system. We’re here to support you every step of the way, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you encounter any issues. We are excited that the Dental Van will be here at Sunrise, September 10th-19th. Paperwork must be completed and returned by September 12th for students to participate. Please complete those items and return them to school as soon as possible. Thank you!

Sunrise R-9 is seeking substitute teachers for the 24-25 school year! We are a small, 4 day a week school district located in De Soto, Missouri, nestled in between farmland and a beautiful lake and garden. The staff and students are amazing, and you will feel right at home working here.
There are two ways to become a certified substitute teacher in Missouri. If you have 36 or more college credits, all you have to do is submit your transcript to DESE to get started. If you don't have college credits, no worries, you can become certified to sub through Frontline Education.

2024 Volleyball Tryouts 🏐
Sunrise Dragons volleyball tryouts will be held on August 13th and 14th from 3:30pm-5:00pm in the new gym.
Please email ahampton@sunrise-r9.org to confirm if your child will be trying out for the team. This will help me prepare for tryouts by knowing how many girls to expect.
The team will be announced at the end of tryouts on August 14th.
‼️Be on the lookout for a post regarding paperwork and physicals from Mr. Kasmarzik. This will need to be completed PRIOR to tryouts.‼️
