Here's what's happening at Sunrise!  Come out and join us!

August

Safety Drills completed this month: Fire, Tornado, Earthquake, Intruder

Community Service Project: Donate all your old Sunrise gear and we will give to students who don't have any.

17: 6:00 pm- Middle School (grades 6-8) 'Back to School' Night in old gym

              8:00 pm- Instrument Try Outs for students 

21: 12:30-1:30 Total Solar Eclipse Event in Outdoor Classroom (hosted by PTO)

       6:00-8:00 pm - PK-5 'Back to School' Night 

               6:00 all Kindergarten families meet in old gym, 6:45 all PK families meet in old gym

               7:15 Fall PTO Meeting in old gym- all families encouraged to attend, hear how you can support

23: 8:10 am FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL 

               Students may arrive at 7:45. Only students and teachers are allowed down the halls the first week to help students                    with this transition.

28: PBS Boot Camp for students

29:  7:30-8:00 am Breakfast with Books - we invite all parents/guardians to come eat breakfast with your child. 

30: 3:30 pm- Volleyball Gatorade Game. Admission is a bottle of gatorade- come out to support the girls practice game before                      the season.

31: National Eat Lunch Outside Day- Come out during your child's lunch shift to eat together.

                   K-2 11:05-11:30,  3-5 11:40-12:05,  6-8 12:15-12:30

31: 6:30 pm- National Junior Honor Society Inductions

October

Community Service Project: "Sock"tober- donate new socks and they will go back to Sunrise students.
